We offer apprenticeships, Graduate employment opportunities and vacation programs in a number of areas within our business.

Apprenticeship Program

Our Apprenticeship Program is run by nationally accredited staff who are experts in their field. It includes both on and off-the-job training at our dedicated Training Centres and TAFE SA. Apprenticeships are available in various locations around South Australia, and include:

  • Powerline 
  • Powerline Transmission 
  • Electrical 
  • Electrical with Telecommunications

Vacancies will be listed on our Current Vacancies page and on Seek. Our tips for setting up a Job Alert 285KB PDF will make sure you don't miss out. Applications must be made online and will only be accepted via our website.


All applicants must:

  • be Australian citizens or residents
  • have sound English and Maths skills
  • hold a current Australian drivers licence (full, probationary or learner)
  • be willing to undergo a medical (including drug and alcohol test).

Shortlisted applicants must also be prepared to participate in an:

  • aptitude test
  • panel interview
  • heights and dexterity test
  • driving record check
  • police check

Graduate Program

Our Graduate Program gives you an opportunity to put theory in to practice, and supports your transition from university to full-time employment. It includes employment opportunities within our engineering, information technology and telecommunication departments.

How to apply

Applications open in March each year for the following year’s intake. Open listings are advertised on our GradAustralia page.

Engineering Vacation Program

Our Engineering Vacation Program is aimed at enthusiastic and energetic university students and runs for 12 weeks during the summer break. This program gives you an opportunity to apply what you’ve learnt at university by working on real projects, with guidance from our experienced mentors, coaches and employees.

How to apply

Applications open in August each year and are advertised on our GradAustralia page.



All applicants must be:

  • an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • studying electrical/electronic engineering, mechatronic engineering, mechanical engineering or civil/structural engineering
  • in their second to last year of university studies.
