SA Power Networks Enterprise Registered Training Organisation (RTO)

SA Power Networks operates an Enterprise Registered Training Organisation to deliver nationally recognised training to our employees, including apprentices. We are registered with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), RTO Code 40170.

Some of our training is subsidised by the South Australian Government through Skills SA, under a Funded Activities Agreement between SA Power Networks and the Department. Participant Eligibility Criteria apply — visit www.skills.sa.gov.au for details.

Training we deliver

SA Power Networks Enterprise RTO delivers nationally accredited training within our approved scope of registration, including:

• Certificate II in ESI – Asset Inspection and Testing (UET20621)
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820)
• Certificate III in ESI – Distribution Overhead (UET30621)
• Work Safely Around Powerlines as an Ordinary Person Skill Set (UETSS00055)

Fees and eligibility conditions

Participant Course Fees and Incidental Fees apply and vary by program and cohort. Fees are set out in a funding proposal, accepted before training commences, and are payable by the employer rather than the individual participant.

Apprentices and trainees undertaking subsidised training with SA Power Networks are engaged under a registered Training Contract, which sets out the conditions of their apprenticeship or traineeship.
