Coromandel Place emergency works
Friday 21 August 2026
What we are doing
Following flooding at our Coromandel Place substation caused by a burst water main in Grenfell Street, SA Power Networks will undertake emergency works on Coromandel Place, between Grenfell Street and Pirie Street.
When we will be working
Works will start at 6pm on Sunday 23 August 2026 and continue 24 hours a day until 7am on Friday 28 August 2026.
These emergency works will result in temporary traffic, access and construction impacts, outlined below.
Further works may be required in the area over the coming months.
We will continue to engage with local businesses, residents and other stakeholders as plans are confirmed, to provide information in advance and minimise impacts wherever possible.
How this may affect you
Traffic management will be in place around the work area. Pedestrian and vehicle access on Coromandel Place will be temporarily restricted, with clearly marked detours in place.
Access to businesses will be maintained throughout the works. We will contact businesses and residents directly adjacent to the worksite in advance to discuss any specific access needs or concerns.
