Lobethal Road closure and traffic changes at Forest Range

Tuesday 7 May 2024

What we’re doing

Cypress trees need to be trimmed from around low- and high-voltage powerlines along Lobethal Road which will be undertaken by our contractor Active Tree Services. Due to the road width and the size of our elevated work platform (EWP) required for this task, we need to close Lobethal Road between Stentiford Road and Collins Hill Road for safety.

How this affects you

Road impact

Lobethal Road between Stentiford Road and Collins Hill Road will be closed Tuesday 7 May between 9am and 4pm. If crews finish earlier, we will reopen the road. Reduced speeds will be in place along with a sign-posted detour (map below). Fast Lane Traffic will be providing traffic management services to help pedestrians and road users.

Residents between 1168 – 1283 Lobethal Road will have access as required, in consultation with Fast Lane Traffic. Properties that may be directly affected by the worksite include 1189, 1194, 1195A, and 1195B Lobethal Road. Only authorised vehicles will have access to the worksite area during our work period. For properties within the worksite area please ensure you do not have cars parked on the edge of the road, and if you will need your vehicle during the day, please park it outside our worksite before 9 am.

If you are subscribed to receive free outage alerts and updates from us, we will send you a reminder next Monday.
