Title Clearance Request Process

Making Title Clearance Requests simpler and faster

To help streamline the title clearance process for contestable developments, from 1 October, SA Power Networks is introducing a new Request for Title Clearance form for developers and surveyors. This new form has been designed to capture the key information required to process a title clearance request efficiently and reduce delays caused by incomplete or missing project details.

Why we've made this change

Currently, title clearance requests are often submitted with limited information, making it difficult to identify the relevant development, project stage, or SA Power Networks contact responsible for the project. As a result, additional investigation and follow-up may be required before a request can be assessed. The new form addresses this by standardising the information provided at the time of submission.

How to submit a title clearance request

To request a title clearance for a contestable development, submit a completed Request for Title Clearance form with the relevant title plan to the Easements Team RealEstateAdmin@sapowernetworks.com.au.

The request will then be reviewed against the applicable construction and project requirements before clearance is considered.
