Investing in future engineers
Over the past year, we welcomed 16 engineering interns across our undergraduate programs:
- Four interns from Flinders University completed our newly named Engineering Undergraduate Program – Winter Intake
- Twelve interns completed the Engineering Undergraduate Program – Summer Intake
These programs provide hands‑on experience and meaningful project work, while allowing students to continue their university studies.
From internship to ongoing employment
A key highlight from this year’s intake is that all participating interns transitioned into ongoing roles within SA Power Networks.
Each intern moved into a continuing Engineering Support Officer position, giving them the opportunity to build practical skills, gain industry experience and establish long‑term career pathways while completing their degrees.
