SA Power Networks' Cyber Kickstart Program

Are you passionate about IT and cyber security? Do you want to kickstart your career with hands-on experience while gaining recognised certifications? SA Power Networks is offering a unique program, designed to help you launch a successful career in cyber security.

The SA Power Networks Cyber Kickstart Program will take individuals with either no prior IT or cyber security experience and provide them an environment to grow their cyber skills and knowledge over a two-year period.

During these two years, you will undertake the role of a Cyber Security Support Officer and focus on gaining industry-recognised certifications and hands-on experience within a highly capable, proactive, cutting-edge, and award-winning cybersecurity team. The end goal is to ensure that participants will be highly sought-after and employable within the wider cyber community. This initiative aims to cultivate a new generation of skilled cybersecurity professionals to take their first steps into the industry.

Through our partnership with the Australian Computer Society (ACS), participants will gain cyber security training while applying your knowledge in real-world situations. You will spend two days a week in structured learning program, and three days each week working alongside experienced professionals within the three cyber security teams at SA Power Networks.
