Total Fire Bans have been declared across South Australia.
Update 5:00pm 24/01: The worst of todays extreme fire-risk conditions have passed, we are continuing to monitor the weather
We have extra crews available to respond to any faults or outages over the long weekend and into next week with the extreme heat conditions.
In consideration of the forecasts, the majority of planned maintenance has been cancelled for Tuesday, which keeps our crews in reserve to respond as soon as possible to fault reports.
As always, we appreciate the strong support we have from our community.

SA Power Networks is actively monitoring areas of extreme or catastrophic fire danger risk. If we assess that there is significant risk of our infrastructure starting or worsening a fire, we have a legislated responsibility to disconnect power to protect lives and property.
Disconnection is a last resort which is rarely used: It is targeted in high-risk areas only, with reconnection occurring as soon as conditions ease and it is safe to do so. Please have your Power Outage Plan ready.
