SA Power Networks again celebrates national recognition for intern program

2025 Vacation Graduates website news hero 905 x 428

We are incredibly proud to announce the latest national recognition of our commitment to providing exceptional opportunities for the next generation of power industry professionals.

Our Engineering Vacation Program has achieved 9th position in the Small Interns Program category of the AAGE 2025 Top Intern Programs. This is a significant achievement, representing a climb from 14th in the previous year. This improvement reflects our ongoing dedication to enhancing our program and creating a truly valuable experience for Engineering and Digital & Technology undergraduates.

The rankings are determined by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) and are based entirely on the feedback from interns themselves. For the 2025 rankings, over 2,500 interns across 127 member organisations participated in the annual AAGE Intern Survey, providing valuable insights into the quality of internship programs nationwide.

One of SA’s largest employers

We are especially pleased to be one of the few South Australia-headquartered companies to be featured in the AAGE Top Intern Programs lists, highlighting our role in nurturing and developing talent within our state.

At SA Power Networks, we firmly believe that internships are a vital bridge for students, connecting academic knowledge with practical application. They offer invaluable opportunities to develop essential skills, explore potential career paths, and gain real-world experience that sets them up for success.

This recognition by the AAGE and, most importantly, by our interns, validates our efforts to create a program that not only supports the development of future industry leaders but also contributes to the continued growth and innovation of SA Power Networks.
