Guaranteed Service Level payments for power outages 21 - 22 November

Guaranteed Service Level payments are automatically made to eligible customers within three months of an outage.

While it is not necessary to apply for a Guaranteed Service Level payment, you may wish to register your details.

Payments are paid by cheque to the account holder for continuous power outages exceeding 12 hours from the time we become aware of the outage. You can read more about the conditions on our fact sheet.

We appreciate your patience during the very trying conditions in which we experienced relentless gale-force winds which created significant damage to our electricity network and delayed power restoration to many customers due to unsafe working conditions.

We thank our crews and support teams for their tireless efforts.

More than 100,000 customers were affected to different degrees over the two days. We make GSL payments within three months of an event and we aim to make the payments as soon as possible, however with this number of faults and power outages, we ask for your patience while we assess eligibility.
