Notification of night works

What we’re doing
We are undertaking night work on our ground level transformer at the rear of Kurralta Central shopping centre (Mortimer Street) from 10pm Saturday 18 to 6am Sunday 19 February 2023.
How this affects you
Power outage
Some customers will experience a power outage between 10pm Saturday 18 to 6am Sunday 19 February for the safety of our crews working. If you will be affected, we will send a card, or send SMS/emails to subscribed customers. If you don’t already receive free SMS/email updates about your power, you can subscribe at sapowernetworks.co/SMSservice or via our website.
Noise
There will be some noise overnight from our works including the excavation of soil around the transformer and heavy machinery.
Traffic and Parking
There will be minimal disruption to off-street car parking with our heavy vehicles located around our work area on Mortimer Street.
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your co-operation during our essential work. Our crews will minimise any disruption as much as possible.

The City of West Torrens has approved an exemption from Section 18 of the Local Nuisance and Litter Control Act 2016 to Enerven to conduct this construction activity from 10pm Saturday 18 to 6am on Sunday 19 February 2023.
