What we’re doing

We're upgrading switchboard equipment at the Salisbury substation to ensure a reliable power supply.

This work will be contained within the substation at 3 Guerin Street with some minor works required outside of the Substation area. Work will start from 29 April and is estimated to be completed by 30 November 2024. Work won't occur every day during this period.

Most of the work is scheduled to take place during daylight hours, with some work planned for weekends and the possibly of some night work.

We will be using trucks, cranes, and heavy machinery during this project. This activity may slow traffic, and we will have traffic control measures in place to ensure the safety of road users.

We don't expect any impact to off-street parking or driveway access. We will let you know directly if this changes.
