In 2023 SA Power Networks became a signatory to the Energy Charter, a unique CEO-led coalition of organisations across the energy supply chain with a shared purpose and passion for customers and communities.

As part of their commitment, full signatory CEOs agree to publicly disclose how they are delivering against the five Energy Charter Principles.

In 2025, Energy Charter removed the mandatory requirement for signatories to complete a standalone disclosure report,moving from compliance to evidencing outcomes.
