Reflecting on National Reconciliation Week 2026
We recently marked National Reconciliation Week (NRW) 2026, joining communities across Australia in recognising the importance of building stronger relationships with First Nations peoples.
Supporting reconciliation through action and learning
This year’s theme, “All In”, encouraged individuals and organisations to take meaningful, everyday action towards reconciliation.
Bringing people together

Throughout the week, our people took part in activities designed to deepen understanding, celebrate First Nations cultures and create space for open conversation.
Team members attended the National Reconciliation Week Breakfast, hosted by Reconciliation SA, alongside community leaders and organisations from across South Australia. The event highlighted the shared role we all play in progressing reconciliation.
Learning from Culture and Experience

Employees also participated in a basket weaving workshop led by respected Buandig Elder Aunty Janice Rigney, gaining hands‑on insight into an important cultural practice and the stories and traditions behind it.
We were also proud to welcome AFL great Shaun Burgoyne, who shared his personal journey and reflections on identity, resilience and the importance of community. His message reinforced the role organisations can play in fostering inclusive, supportive environments.
Our commitment to reconciliation
These activities form part of our broader commitment to reconciliation across our business.
Through our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we are focused on building respectful relationships, creating opportunities and increasing understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
Building an inclusive workplace
We believe creating an inclusive, respectful workplace is key to attracting and supporting talented people from all backgrounds.
By investing in learning, listening and meaningful engagement, we are working to ensure our people feel connected to the communities we serve — and empowered to make a positive difference.
