About the webinar

The Government of South Australia is introducing new Dynamic Export Requirements as part of the regulatory changes, requiring most new exporting solar generation systems to be capable of remotely updating their export limits from 1 July 2023.

Inverters sold in SA after this date must meet these new requirements.

In conjunction with this, SA Power Networks will be launching Flexible Exports connection option as a standard offering for new and upgrading customers across 2023 and 2024, enabling eligible customers to export up to 10kW per phase.

Inverter manufacturers have been developing, testing and certifying for this new capability.

Watch the webinar to find out:

  • What the regulatory requirements and new offer mean for you
  • What you need to do to ensure your installations are compliant with the regulations
  • Benefits of Flexible Exports to you and your customers
  • Learn how to commission, register, closeout and test a Flexible Exports system
  • Specific actions you can take to be ready and stay up-to-date

You will hear from:

  • Ian Furness – Principal Electrical Engineer, Office of the Technical Regulator, Department for Energy and Mining
  • James Brown – Strategy Lead, DER Integration, SA Power Networks
  • Ross Mullins – Energy Service Analyst, SA Power Networks
